Key Stage 3 students follow a programme according to the National Curriculum. Teachers liaise with mainstream schools to provide teaching in line with what a student’s class is covering. Students who have missed a significant amount of time or who are unable to access their mainstream curriculum will follow The Nightingale Centre’s own provision.
For Key Stage 3 students there is a focus on Reading, Writing and Speaking & Listening. Each key area is covered within topics. Topics are subject to change according to student needs.
Examples of topics include:
- Gothic Horror
- Moving Image/Avertising
- Skills Lessons
