Attendance / Absence

  • Spotlight on Attendance

  • Punctuality

At Nightingale, we believe good attendance is an essential element of any young person's personal development and goes hand in hand with a positive attitude to learning. This is why we encourage, celebrate and reward good and improving attendance with certificates, special mention assemblies and lunch and shopping vouchers. Each young person has a personalised timetable of up to 12 hours tuition time per week which could take place onsite at the Nightingale Home and Hospital Service, at the Hospital School Room or in their home. We understand that each individual child's needs are unique and therefore we offer a flexible service with regular review points.

Attendance is tracked and monitored by our Attendance Officer.

If your child has a medical appointment of is absent from school, please contact Miss Jemma Claire on: 01902 555194
